I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards our families for choosing Carlie Care Kids for your children’s early childhood education experience. As you are all aware, the Covid-19 pandemic has brought some extreme and difficult changes to our lives, one being the new ways in which we are forced to educate our children. But I would like to reassure you that Carlie Care Kids is still dedicated to providing an exceptional education for our children. We have taken all necessary precautions and have met all mandated guidelines to ensure that our children as well as our staff are in a safe, sanitized and healthy environment.
Please take a moment to review our reopening plans which are as follows:
Carlie Care Kids will resume classes in accordance with the Jefferson Parish School System reopening plan. Thus, we will offer virtual, hybrid and in-person learning as long as Louisiana is in either Phase II or Phase III reopening schedule in relation to Corvid-19. In the event that Louisiana returns to Phase I, learning will be virtual only. Carlie Care Kids will begin intake assessments on August 31st-September 1st 2020. Assessments will be conducted by appointment only and will take place at 501 Richard St., Gretna, LA 70053.
Instruction will commence on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020. During our initial reopening, instruction will be exclusively virtual as we undergo all necessary precautions to ensure that our new expansion facility, located on 1800 Stumpf Blvd., Terrytown, LA 70056, is COVID-19 compliant and ready for a safe reopening. We anticipate all renovations to be concluded in Mid-September. Upon reopening, parents will have the option for virtual, hybrid and/or in-person learning until further notice.

Virtual learning will take place in real time. Carlie Care Kids will use Google G-Suite Enterprise for Education for instruction and Zoom for video conferencing. You will receive an email with all login guidelines as well as a brief tutorial.

Launched in 2007, Carlie Care Kids has been a leader in provinding exceptional early childhood education in the Greater New Orleans Area. The implementation of modern, high quality teaching strategies and observation tools has earned the center a 4-Star QSR rating and current class score of 5.63.
CCK partners with various organizations that have aided in its success including Kingsley House, Jefferson Parish Schools, and the Louisiana Department of Education Nonpublic School Early Childhood Development (NSECD) Program.
Our partnership with Kingsley House affords embedded training and training on site as well as a family advocate to foster parent and family engagement.
Through partnership with Jefferson Parish School System, CCK is entrusted with the care and development of 40 Pre-K 4 students in preparation for Kindergarten. Each classroom is staffed with a certified teacher and para professional. CCK’s partnership with the State of Louisiana NSECD Program prepares 20 Pre-K4 students for Kindergarten and staffed with a certified teacher and para professional. Each partnership and student classification requires specific objectives to ensure positive outcomes. Monique B. Rouege is the Owner/Director of Carlie Care Kids Child Care and Pre-School Center. Monique is very passionate about early childhood educational development and committed to producing positive outcomes for the children and the community.
Iris Brisco is the Assistant Director of Carlie Care Kids. After 25 years in the Insurance Industry, she decided to assist her daughter, Monique Rouege, in fulfilling her mission in providing quality early childhood education throughout the Greater New Orleans Area.
Emelda Watts is an experienced Administrative Assistant and office manager. She joined the Carlie Care Kids family in 2015 after 30 years in the telecommunications industry.
